Terms & Conditions

Ashika Singh – Sole Proprietor

These Terms & Conditions apply to the personal services and experiences offered by Ashika Singh through the School of Applied Metaphysics website: https://schoolofappliedmetaphysics.com/experiences

By making a booking or participating in an experience, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

1. About the Services

The experiences provide a dedicated space for personal reflection, self-inquiry, learning and personal development. Depending on the experience selected, the work may include Transpersonal Counselling, a Metaphysical Science approach to wellness, archetypal approaches to self-inquiry, mentoring, conscious-living practices, emotional and spiritual support, and related personal-development approaches. Each experience is offered according to the description, format and duration presented at the time of booking.

2. About the Service Provider

The services are provided by Ashika Singh, PhD, a practitioner and educator with more than two decades of experience in personal development, self-inquiry, emotional intelligence and metaphysical studies. She holds a PhD in Metaphysical Science and has developed and provided personal-development and self-inquiry experiences for individuals in South Africa and internationally.

Dr Singh is also a member of the American Metaphysical Doctors Association (AMDA). Her professional listing is available through the AMDA Directory: AMDA Directory – Dr Ashika Singh, PhD
https://universityofsedona.com/american-metaphysical-doctors-association/

Her work draws on Metaphysical Science, Transpersonal Counselling, self-inquiry, emotional and spiritual support, personal development and related contemplative approaches.

3. Professional Scope

Metaphysical Science is distinct from Medical Science.

The services offered are provided within a non-clinical personal-development and Transpersonal Counselling scope. They do not provide medical or psychological diagnosis or treatment and are not a substitute for medical, psychological, psychiatric or other healthcare services. Where a matter falls outside the scope of the service provided, you may be encouraged to seek support from an appropriately qualified professional.

4. Booking, Fees and Payment

Appointments and experiences are available by booking and are subject to availability.

The applicable service description, duration and fee will be displayed on the website or communicated before the booking is confirmed. Individual sessions are paid after the session has taken place. A payment request will be sent for the agreed amount.

5. Session Duration

The duration selected when booking is the starting duration for the session.

Where a session naturally requires additional time, it may continue by mutual agreement and subject to availability. Any additional time and applicable fee will be agreed with you before the additional time is undertaken.

6. Participation and Confidentiality

Participation in an experience is voluntary. You remain responsible for your own choices, decisions and actions during and following the experience. The services support awareness, reflection, self-inquiry and personal development. No particular personal, emotional, relationship or life outcome is guaranteed. Information shared during an individual session will be treated respectfully and confidentially, subject to applicable law. Further information about personal information is provided in the Privacy Policy.

7. Online and In-Person Experiences

For online experiences, you are responsible for suitable internet access, the necessary device or equipment, and an appropriate private environment. For in-person experiences, practical arrangements including location and any preparation requirements will be communicated before the experience is confirmed. Where significant technical difficulties or other circumstances prevent an experience from taking place, reasonable arrangements may be made to reschedule.

8. Cancellation and Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule a booking without a cancellation fee.

Please provide notice as soon as reasonably possible.

Where a session has not taken place, no session fee is due.

Further information is provided in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

Original written materials, exercises, practices, frameworks and other resources provided as part of an experience remain the intellectual property of Ashika Singh or the applicable rights holder.

Materials provided for personal use may not be reproduced, redistributed, published or commercially used without written permission.

10. Communications, Recordings, Personalised Material and Artificial Intelligence

The services provided by Ashika Singh may include individually prepared questions, exercises, frameworks, guidance, written material, WhatsApp messages, emails, telephone or voice-call discussions, session conversations and other communications developed or provided specifically for your individual experience. These communications and materials are intended for your personal use and should be treated as private and confidential.

Recording and Interception

A client may not secretly record, intercept, audio-record, video-record, screen-record or otherwise capture a session or communication with Ashika Singh without her prior knowledge and consent.

This applies to sessions and communications conducted in person, by telephone, WhatsApp, video call, email or through any other communication platform or technology. Where a client wishes to record a session for personal reference, prior permission must be requested. Permission may be granted subject to conditions agreed before the recording takes place. An unauthorised recording is not an agreed or approved record of the service.

Sharing and Use of Communications

A client may retain communications relating to their own experience for their personal records.

However, without prior written permission, a client may not publish, distribute, reproduce, commercially use, materially alter or present Ashika Singh's communications, recordings, written guidance, screenshots, transcripts or personalised materials to third parties for purposes beyond the client's personal use. Where any communication, recording, transcript, screenshot, extract or summary is shared or relied upon, it should not be selectively edited, presented or interpreted in a manner that removes material context or creates a misleading impression of the communication, the purpose of the exchange, the nature of the experience or the service provided. A transcript, summary, interpretation or narrative prepared by a client or third party does not constitute Ashika Singh's account of the session and must not be represented as though it were her own statement or record.

Context and Formal Proceedings

Where a communication, recording or other material from an experience is voluntarily shared with a third party, professional body, legal representative, court or other formal process, the client is requested, where legally permissible, to preserve and provide the complete relevant communication or recording and sufficient context rather than relying only on selected, edited or isolated extracts.

Where material from an experience is relied upon in a formal or legal proceeding, the original material and its relevant context should, where legally permissible, be preserved so that the material can be understood in its proper context. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions prevents either party from complying with a lawful court order, subpoena, statutory obligation or other legal requirement.

Personalised Intellectual Property

Individualised material created for a client's experience remains the intellectual property of Ashika Singh or the applicable rights holder unless otherwise stated. This includes original questions, exercises, frameworks, written guidance and other materials developed specifically for the service. Such material may not be reproduced, replicated, commercially developed, published, distributed or used to create substantially derived work without prior written permission.

Artificial Intelligence

Clients may use artificial intelligence (AI) for their own personal reflection or organisation.

However, AI or other automated systems may not be used to reproduce, replicate, commercially develop, publish, distribute or create substantially derived content from Ashika Singh's personalised material, original frameworks, exercises or other intellectual property without prior written permission.

Clients are also responsible for considering the privacy and security implications before uploading session notes, recordings, WhatsApp messages, emails, screenshots, personalised guidance or other confidential information into AI systems or other third-party platforms. Information entered into a third-party AI system may be subject to that provider's own terms, storage practices and privacy arrangements.

Legal and Professional Context

Ashika Singh does not provide legal, forensic or expert-witness services, and participation in an experience does not create an agreement that communications, recordings or personalised materials will be prepared or provided as legal evidence. The purpose of this provision is to protect the privacy, integrity, context, confidentiality and intellectual property associated with an individual experience while recognising that lawful disclosure may be required in certain circumstances.
