Our Founder

Pioneering a Path of Ethical Discernment.

Ashika’s journey began in her late teens through spiritual and mindfulness circles that awakened a deep curiosity about what it truly means to be human.

Over the last two decades, she has studied widely across many of the world’s most renowned classrooms in personal development and self-help. However, while her curiosity is broad, her anchor has always remained in the tangible. She has balanced her exploration of the "invisible" with a rigorous commitment to university-level academic study, ensuring every insight is filtered through a lens of evidence-based reality.

The Work of a Pioneer

Recognising that the field of Metaphysics often lacked a formal, ethical framework in South Africa, Ashika has spent her career carving out a space where spiritual depth meets academic responsibility. Her Master's research served as a pivotal anchor in this journey, focusing on the Sacred Self through the lenses of Psychology and Philosophy. This work allowed her to bridge the gap between ancient metaphysical concepts and the modern understanding of the human psyche.

In 2010, she was appointed as Principal Trainer for Heal Your Life® South Africa, a role that requires high-level international licensing and alignment with the heart-centred lineage of Louise Hay.

Seeking even deeper integration, she eventually pursued her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Transpersonal Counselling. Her doctoral dissertation, “An Archetypal Approach to Mental and Emotional Healing,” was the culmination of years spent pioneering a professional standard.

Because Metaphysics sits outside standard government criteria, Ashika worked relentlessly to ensure her research remained grounded in emotional awareness and clinical discernment. She didn't just earn a degree; she built a bridge for others to follow.

Beyond Basic EQ: Humanising the Journey

Alongside her corporate work, Ashika has developed a highly specialised approach to Emotional Intelligence (EQ). To Ashika, EQ is not a corporate "soft skill" or a simple checklist of behaviours; it is a vital life-literacy and a specialised discipline that reaches far beyond basic concepts.

She has stripped away clinical jargon to make high-level emotional discernment accessible to everyday people. By focusing on "Humanising the Workplace" and the home, she empowers individuals to move beyond "forced positivity" into a state of true, sustainable resilience. Her mentorship teaches that EQ is a bridge between the intellect and the intuitive heart—a way of being that transforms how we hold space for ourselves and our communities.

Mentorship with Integrity

Today, Ashika brings this wealth of experience to the School of Applied Metaphysics. Her focus remains: Skills, not just Spirit. Whether she is mentoring future practitioners or offering private, personalised learning for families with specialised needs, she equips her students with a "grounded presence." Her goal is to ensure that every graduate can hold space responsibly, professionally, and ethically—honouring both the practical standards of our society and the sacred nature of the human journey.

Professional Scope: Ashika Singh, PhD (Metaphysics), provides Transpersonal-informed mentorship within a holistic, non-secular framework. This work is educational and developmental. It is important to note that Metaphysics and Transpersonal-informed guidance are specialized fields focused on the spiritual and emotional aspects of growth; they do not constitute medical, psychiatric, or clinical psychological diagnosis or treatment.
